Centre News Latest News Supporting Our Community: Parkinson’s Coffee Morning Success On Monday 13th April, we were proud to host a warm and welcoming Parkinson’s Coffee Morning in partnership with Parkinson’s UK, bringing our community together to raise awareness and support everyone affected by Parkinson’s. The event, held from 10:30am to 12:30pm, created a relaxed and friendly space where people living with Parkinson’s, along with their friends, family members, and carers, could come together for a chat, share experiences, and connect with others who understand. We were delighted to be joined by staff from Parkinson’s UK, as well as a consultant and deputy chief nurse from the NHS Trust. Their presence provided valuable information, guidance, and reassurance, helping attendees learn more about local support and ways to live well with Parkinson’s. Most importantly, the morning highlighted a simple but powerful message: if you or someone you know is living with Parkinson’s, you are not alone. The positive response and sense of community from the day has inspired us to continue this important work. We are pleased to announce that we will now be hosting a monthly Parkinson’s Coffee Morning, offering ongoing support, connection, and a welcoming space for everyone affected by the condition.
