Centre News Archived News Summer Fayre 2024 The sun was out on Saturday 13th July 2024 as the Dorothy Parkes Centre and Smethwick Old Church joined forces to host our annual showpiece event. It was an action-packed day with a variety of stalls and games and performances from special guests including Brandhall Community Choir and children from Uplands Manor Primary School. Food and drink were served out of our new community kitchen and thanks to All Out Mascots, visitors were welcomed at the entrance by ‘Bluey’ who posed for pictures and high fived all the children (and some adults). We’d like to say a big thank you to everybody who helped to organise the event and all the volunteers who helped out on the day. It was a great amount of money raised and as usual, it will be split 50/50 with Smethwick Old Church. We had some amazing raffle prizes, and the winning tickets can be found below.
