Thanks to Black Country Touring, we’ve been delighted to welcome some fantastic theatre productions to The Dorothy Parkes Centre recently, bringing creativity, joy and storytelling to our community.

We hosted ‘Wonderland’ by Spiltmilk Dance, an immersive and captivating production that transported attendees to a magical, imaginative world. It was an absolute pleasure to see the Centre come alive with movement, music and storytelling. We were also thrilled to welcome Rebecca Wood and Hutchy from BBC Midlands Today to the Centre to create a special news feature on the Wonderland production. It was fantastic to have them join us and share the magic of the performance with a wider audience.

 

Following this, we welcomed the touring production of The Toymaker from Infamous Community Arts - another engaging and enchanting performance that brought smiles and festive cheer to all who attended. Both shows highlighted the joy of live theatre and storytelling, creating wonderful shared experiences for everyone in attendance.
