As we begin 2026, I want to wish everyone in our community a very Happy New Year and a warm welcome back to the Dorothy Parkes Centre. I hope you all enjoyed the festive break.

Looking back on 2025, we are proud of the resilience, kindness, and community spirit that carried us through a challenging year. Thanks to the dedication of our staff, volunteers, and supporters, our Centre continued to be a place of connection, support, and belonging.

Highlights during our 25^th anniversary year included the launch of projects such as Dottie’s Community Fridge, Communi-Tea, Life Thru the Lens, Rainbow Health and Wellness and BoxClever.

As we look ahead, we do so with hope and determination. In 2026, we are committed to building on what we’ve learned, strengthening our services, and continuing to respond to the needs of our community.

We have some exciting plans behind the scenes and hope to see these come to fruition as the year progresses.
