How Dottie's Community Fridge Works Dottie’s Community Fridge is simple and accessible for everyone. Food is donated by local supermarkets, organisations and community members. Our volunteers sort, check and weigh all items to ensure they are safe and suitable for sharing. A Few Simple Guidelines Dottie’s Fridge is volunteer-ledOur wonderful volunteers give their time freely, so please be patient, kind and respectful at all times. On arrivalCollect a short monitoring form to complete. This form will include a number, which shows your place in the queue. ThenPlease wait in the seating area until your number is called. When your number is calledTake your form to the desk. A volunteer will assist you. Please do not approach the fridge until invited. Choosing your foodThe volunteer will ask which three items you would like and will collect them for you.(Please do not open the fridge or take items yourself, as this helps keep everything safe and hygienic.) Please remember Bring a bag to take your food home There is no charge, but donations are welcome to help cover running costs This is surplus food, so availability will vary each week You are not expected to take anything if there is nothing you need Dottie’s Community Fridge exists to reduce food waste, support our community and share kindness. Thank you for helping to keep the fridge a friendly and respectful space for everyone. Manage Cookie Preferences
