We are a registered charity & offer a place of welcome and opportunity for the local community. We have a great opportunity for an individual to join our team and play a key role in the development of our Centre. We are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join our team. This role is key to ensuring the Centre is safe, clean, and welcoming for all our users. Main Responsibilities - Open, close, and secure the Centre. - Carry out general maintenance, minor repairs, and cleaning. - Set up rooms and support private hires and community events. - Monitor safety, security, and compliance with policies. - Provide friendly support and assistance to Centre users. Skills & Experience - Previous caretaking/facilities experience desirable. - Practical maintenance and repair skills. - Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently. - Good communication and customer service skills. - Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Requirements - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and cover holidays/sickness. - Willingness to undertake training (first aid, fire safety, safeguarding, etc.). - Commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming community space.
