Help keep our neighbourhood clean and make a difference by giving just one hour of your time a month!

On the first Saturday of the month at 10am, volunteers come together to pick litter.  Meeting at The Dorothy Parkes Centre then heading to either the Norman Road area of the brook or the Hurst Road area. We rotate locations each month, so every part of the community gets some extra care.

We provide gloves, bags, and litter pickers.

After your hard work, join us back at the centre for a free hot drink as a small thank you for your time and effort.

Litter picking isn’t just about tidying streets, it protects wildlife, reduces pollution, and helps create a safer, more welcoming environment for everyone. It’s also a great way to meet neighbours and get some fresh air and exercise while giving back to the community.

Bring your friends, family, or just yourself, and spend an hour making a real difference. Together, we can keep our community clean, safe, and vibrant!
