As a registered charity, we do not receive any statutory funding. Our Centre relies on income generated through room hire for community groups and private functions. Additional revenue comes from our kitchen, donations, and fundraising activities such as raffles, fayres, and sales.

You can also help by purchasing items from our Amazon Wish List. These are general items regularly used within the Centre. Every purchase, no matter how small, helps us keep the Centre running smoothly.

How It Works

1. Browse our Amazon Wish List and select an item to purchase.

2. At checkout, when asked for a delivery address, please enter: The Dorothy Parkes Centre, Church Road, Smethwick, B67 6EH.

We deeply appreciate your generosity. If you would like us to know who sent the gift, please leave your details in the order notes. If no details are provided, your donation will remain anonymous.

 

We are also always grateful for donations of items such as:

• unwanted/unopened gift sets
• Bottles (e.g. alcohol, pop, lotions or food items)
• toys in good working order
• tombola items
• sweets / chocolate

These items are used at our Bingo sessions and our Summer and Christmas Fayres for the games and tombola stalls.

You can drop the items off at the centre any time we are open, or local collection can be arranged if needed.
